Tuana

Leaves prostrated on the ground,
as the earth veiled with gold and yellow.
The Wanderers rehearsing it’s flight,
with the sound of your sweet cry.
Season of melancholy faded away,
bringing joy and happiness my way.
I bowed down to my Creator,
for the blessing bestowed onto me.
The softest of touch,
the clearest of eyes,
a smile which tugs,
the very core of my heart.
Painting my world with blue, green, and some,
amazed by the miraculous welcome.
I reached for you, naming you,
the first raindrop in the garden of heaven.

(Happy birthday sweet daughter. May you grow up to be a wonderful human being.)
